City Sweets & Eats in Junction

Called them same day for a surprise delivery and they were incredibly awesome about everything! As someone who has worked in the same industry, I always get excited about great service- nevermind the product. I don’t live downtown but my fiancé works in Fountain Square. They were doing a tattoo event wherein some of the profits went towards veterans so I wanted to surprise them with a little boost through their busy day. Circle City Sweets not only accomated me on short notice, but all the guys raved about everything they received! Decidedly so I’m going to have to do my least favorite thing and drive downtown to check them out in person. Thanks CCS for everything!

Home on the most evil but delicious almond croissant, maybe on the planet!

I ordered a chocolate cake for my significant other's birthday. It was lopsided, which I could have overlooked as long as it tasted good. But no, it didn't. The cake itself, was a dark chocolate and was actually pretty good. Very moist. The filling was OK, but the frosting was horrible! Absolutely HORRIBLE. It was as if they'd poured cocoa powder directly onto lard and smeared it on the cake. Very unhappy, it was definitely not worth the price.

“I want to hear when we’re gonna have signage put up that’s supposed to tell when the hours of the plaza are,” said Cindy Hawkins of Circle City Sweets. “When we’ll have overnight security keeping people out of the Plaza overnights, how we’re gonna stop the people from coming to feed the residents of the Plazas on the weekends.”Imagine being so wrapped up in the future of your sweets business that your biggest concern is making sure that people experiencing homelessness don’t eat because it would inconvenience you and your business. Shameful.

Chocolate cake- yummy!

Work brought in a big tray of stuff from here. The brownie thing was pretty good, but the cookies were terrible. I'm sorry, but some were burnt (still sitting in the break-room, cause they're not edible and that is saying a lot for my work place). Biases aside, the cookies just did not stack up to the hype.

I visit the booth at the Carmel Farmers Market each Saturday. As someone who has spent significant amounts of time in France, I know a good croissant and I'm always looking for the same in the US. I can confidenly say these are the best croissants/pain au chocolat this side of the Atlantic! Service is very friendly as well!

The Carmel Farmer's Market has a gem when the sweets arrive. Circle City Sweets offers tempting treats from apricot squares to great grain bread, from tasty sugar cookies to decadent brownies. When Cindy brings her tent to the market, she also looks for fresh ingredients for her focaccia bread or her delicious soups. Get there early, for she often runs out (good for her!) of her items.

The owner/chef is just an incredibly rude person. There are so many other talented business owners in Indy that there is simply no reason to patronize this man's store.

Havent been to the bakery but foundry provisions sells their crossaints... Not exaggerating when i say its the best crossaint ive ever had.

I finally found in this beautiful place the macaroon cookies that I was looking for everywhere the lady who took care of my daughter and me was so kind and sweet I will definitely return they were delicious.

Best Croissant and Pain Au Chocolat in Indy and the surrounding area. Several coffee shops carry their pastries and they have booth in the City Market, as well as a few farmers markets. Simply amazing.
